Lexus revs up the Singapore Motorshow 2019 with the launch of the All-New Lexus UX, a compact SUV, adding to the brand’s growing SUV line-up. The UX is a compact crossover and Lexus’ entry-level model. A crossover between an armored car and a racecar, it strikes a balance between comfortable and daring.
Making its world debut in the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the bold and hybrid model showcases its luxurious features and ultra-efficient new powertrains, proving that its all about being unique and unconventional. Being the first model to ever use the brand’s GA-C (Global Architecture – Compact) platform, The super-rigid structure and low center of gravity emphasizes strongly on agility and driving comfort to its max.
Designed around the brand’s new motto of being Bold, Imaginative and Thoughtful, the layout encourages Lexus enthusiasts to discover new things about Lexus throughout their journey.

A new grain finish inspired by Japanese washi paper can be specified for other interior surfaces as well. The luxurious interior finishes available in the UX are fine examples of Lexus’ Takumi craftsmanship — the superior and meticulous detailing evident in every Lexus model released.
The Lexus UX will be available in two versions. The UX 200 introduces a new 2.0-liter, a four-cylinder engine coupled with a new Direct-Shift continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the UX 250h pairs the same 2.0-liter gas engine with a new fourth-generation hybrid drive system. Both models come in luxuriously exotic and stunning colors of your choice: Blazing Carnelian, Terrane Khaki and Celestial Blue.
“We are excited to launch the All-New Lexus UX today to mark our fifth year of participation at the Singapore Motorshow,” said Samuel Yong, Marketing Director, Borneo Motors Singapore. “The Lexus UX is an important addition to the current Lexus line-up, and we expect it to reach out to a younger generation of luxury customers seeking a fresh, contemporary and dynamic take on luxury driving. For many customers, the UX will not only be their first Lexus, but also their first luxury vehicle.”
Prices for the Lexus UX start at $152,800 with COE.Leave a comment
