The Juventus forward is rumored to be the secret buyer of the one of a kind Bugatti, and according to reports it is the most expensive car ever built.
First presented to the world at the Geneva Motor Show 2019, Bugatti has only built one of the prototype super-car for the 110th anniversary of the founding of the French car manufacturers.
The car is a modern interpretation of the mythical and legendary Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, four of which were built between 1936 and 1938.
The La Voiture Noire is powered by an 8.0-litre turbocharged W16 engine and can reach 260 mph, and can reach 60 mph (100km/h) in 2.4 seconds.
The owner will not be able to drive the car until 2021 as the company still needs to finalize some details on the prototype.
This won’t be the first time Ronaldo has purchased a Bugatti.
After Portugal’s historic victory over France in the 2016 European Championship final, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner celebrated in style with shopping spree landing him a Bugatti Veyron worth around $1.5 million.
