The car is a modern interpretation of the mythical and legendary Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, four of which were built between 1936 and 1938.
The La Voiture Noire is powered by an 8.0-litre turbocharged W16 engine and can reach 260 mph, and can reach 60 mph (100km/h) in 2.4 seconds.
The owner will not be able to drive the car until 2021 as the company still needs to finalize some details on the prototype.
This won’t be the first time Ronaldo has purchased a Bugatti.
After Portugal’s historic victory over France in the 2016 European Championship final, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner celebrated in style with shopping spree landing him a Bugatti Veyron worth around $1.5 million.
