Manchester United to strengthen defence, Real Madrid wants Aaron Ramsey

The Red Devils has conceded 23 times this season, scoring only 22 in 14 games. For the whole of last season, they’ve only conceded 28 goals.

According to reports, United’s offer for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly was rejected. The amount is said to be 91 million pounds, after their initial offer of 77 million was rejected earlier this week. If the deal does go through, Koulibaly would overtake Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk as the most expensive defender in the world.

For their custodian, the Old Trafford side is also prepared to bid for Everton and England’s first choice, Jordan Pickford, in the event David De Gea leaves. Their package is set to be around 70 million, and is set to surprass the 72 million that Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga last season.

Real Madrid has shockingly made contact with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey to head to the Bernabeu after his contract expires. The Welsh international has already been linked to Bayern Munich and AC Milan but Real Madrid would be able to offer significantly more money and the opportunity to work alongside international teammate Gareth Bale might be a bonus for the 27-year-old.

Ramsey signed for Arsenal as a 17-year-old from Cardiff, and has made 347 appearances for the club.

Barcelona’s Denis Suarez targeted by AC Milan, Chelsea and Arsenal. The 24-year-old midfielder has found himself on the fringes for the Catalan giants and seen lesser playing time despite Paulinho leaving in the summer. He has fallen off the pecking order behind Rafinha and even Dembele who was rumored to be be frozen out. His modest fee of 20 million should not be putting off any suitors.
