Christmas is coming early for boxing fans as arguably the biggest significant fight this year is set to take place on Saturday inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles as WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will defend his title against lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The Wilder-Fury showdown is more than a treat for fans, it will be one of the biggest heavyweight fights in this era.
Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) is coming off the biggest win of his career when he rallied to finish Luis Ortiz in the 10th round of their battle in March. Wilder has one of the strongest right hands in the ring.
Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) returned to the ring earlier this year following a three-year break from the ring. He has a two-inch height and reach advantage on his American counterpart. This will be the first time Wilder has to punch at a higher angle. Fury also possesses one of the best footwork and movement among his class.
